Background:
In 2000, my father and I picked this up as a project car. We spent 4 years slowly rebuilding it while properly stored in our garage. On our end, only body, chassis, and interior were restored because the car was running fine. Thousands of dollars were spent, mainly through Classic Industries, in restoring the body and interior with original parts and decals. Those that weren’t replaced, were repaired and painted with original paint. The car was painted on our premises in 2002/2003 so clearly all damage and rust was properly removed prior.
After driving the car as an enjoyable casual weekend drive for approximately 4000 miles, we decided to have the engine and transmission rebuilt due to standard engine wear on a 20+ year old car. We recently got the car back completely rebuilt but have decided to sell it for a few reasons. My father no longer has time or money to fiddle with the car and I am graduating school and moving on to a demanding job with an apartment where there will be no room for a secondary car. Instead of having it rust on my father’s property as a trophy, we would like someone else to pick up where we left off and enjoy it.
I have provided many photos to clearly indicate the current condition of the car. These photos were taken in the winter, with the car unwashed and unwaxed to show the true detail. Additionally, all major receipts for rebuilds along with paperwork are shown as well.

92675 original miles. Engine just rebuilt
professionally by Eddies Valve Grinding in
- A/C functional but belt removed.
Transmission:
- Stock 4-speed automatic transmission with ‘bang shifter’ in console.
- Also rebuilt by Eddies Valve Grinding with less than 50 miles of wear.
Body:
All bodywork, priming, painting, and decal work done by us. Restoration was mainly minor Bond-O and rust repair. Paint is Ford Ultra White with standard gloss. I took direct, unaltered photos of all body damage I found. They indicate minor surface rust and paint chipping that formed over these past few months during rebuild process. Many fully primed and painted replacement parts are available (such as nose) for free upon purchase of vehicle.
All original rare ‘Turbo Rims’ painted for restoration. Fairly new disc brake pads. Weatherstripping replaced to prevent infamous T-Top leakage. Tires have less than 4000 miles wear.
Interior:
Similarly,
interior was completely pulled out and replaced by mainly all new, pricey,
parts from Classic Industries in
Underbody:
During restoration, all surface rust was sanded and treated to prevent any further standard wear. However, very minor rusting is beginning to reappear due to weather and engine heat.
